Airports
The GV coordinator-Habitat Staff will be at the airport to welcome your team, and will arrange ground transportation as well, see Cost Calendar for more details. Arrival Tax US 10.00, no departure tax.
The Dominican Republic has seven international airports. But those mainly used by brigades are:

Aeropuerto Internacional de las América (AILA) 40 minutes from the center of Santo Domingo, Main aiport of the country. (Recommended).

Aeropuerto de Santiago, located in the city of Santiago (the second capital of the Dominican Republic).

Accomodations
Our accomodations are often catholic retreat centers, with dorms or double rooms, the centers provide all the meals, areas for recreation and relaxation, meeting places and a great staff of local people.
